What type of Access Code should I choose? 

Your Access Code is an important piece of security information and should be known only to you. Don? t choose a number that would be easy for someone else to guess. Examples of the type of Access Code you should NOT choose include:

00000 or 12345 or 98765 or your date of birth e. g. 25565 (25th May 1965). 

Why should I change my password? 

It is important to change your Password if you suspect another individual might know your Password. In conjunction with your Customer ID and 3 digits of your Access Code, your Password is used to authenticate you and allow you to access your account online; therefore it is important that only you know your Password. If you suspect someone knows your Password please call your bank customer support representatives immediately.

Is it secure to change my Password online?  

Yes, it is secure to change your Password online from any page within the secure site. You will be notified by email once your Password has been changed if you have registered your email address with the chosen bank.

Why will the system not accept my new Password?  

Your Password may not be valid. A valid Password is between 8 and 20 characters and cannot contain any spaces or characters. It must be alphanumeric – letters and numbers only.

What type of Password should I choose?  

When choosing your Password, please bear in mind the following:

Your Password must be alphanumeric i. e. contain only letters and numbers

Your Password cannot contain spaces

Your Password must contain at least one number

Your Password must be a minimum of 6 digits in length and a maximum of 20

Your Password is case sensitive so if you use a combination of the upper (e. g. J) and lower case (e. g. j), you must remember exactly how you typed it.

Avoid using words that can be found in the dictionary

Avoid using any personal information such as your PIN, date of birth, names, your name spelling, etc.

Why do I see a message about being redirected to another connection when I log out OR change my Access Code OR change my password?  

This is a standard security prompt that some browsers may show when you move from a secure site to a standard website. All your online banking details are sent to your bank on a secure connection, and there is no risk of these details being transmitted when you log out or change your Access Code or Password.
